Harry Jun

Harry Jun is a Sydney based comedian, host and cartoonist. He stars in ABC’s Good Game: Spawn Point, Good Game Spawn Squad, and co-hosts an SBS podcast, Say Kimchi with Shona Yang. Harry started performing stand-up comedy in 2017 while he taught high school English. He was a RAW Comedy NSW State Finalist in 2019 and 2020. Also in 2020, a kid at the high school he used to teach at called him “a little bitch”. Life is full of peaks and valleys. 

In 2022 Harry joined ABC Gamer as the host, writer and producer of Loot Drop, a weekly gaming news show with hot takes, sketches and silly jokes. He has produced content that has amassed millions of views on the ABC Gamer TikTok and YouTube channels. Since 2023 Harry has starred in Good Game Spawn Point and Spawn Squad where he continues to be disrespected by kids. 

In 2022 Harry debuted his solo hour “One of the Good Ones” at the Sydney Comedy Festival which sold out its season. In 2023, he was invited to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Comedy Up Late program, as well as the MICF Roadshow which toured Australia. In 2024 Harry was awarded the MICF Moosehead Grant for his show “Watermelon Licking” which explores the darker sides of Korean history and culture through stand-up comedy and cartoons. He was invited to perform at the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala in Sutherland and has since toured the country with the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase. 

In 2024 Harry was a cast member of Grouse House’s Trope RPG Season 1, and was invited to perform at Grouse by Grouse Fest in the Trope RPG Live Show alongside Mark Bonano, Samantha Andrew and Matthew Jackson. 

Since 2022 Harry has hosted the premiere Korean Film Festival in Australia, interviewing Korean film directors such as Kim Yong-Gyun, Kim Douck min, An Tae-Jin and Kim Da-Min.
