Elouise Eftos is an actor, singer, dancer, writer, voice over artist & Australia’s First Attractive Comedian. Hailing from Perth, WA, Elouise trained as a dancer & singer as a kid and to no one’s surprise went on to study Musical Theatre & Screen Acting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. While studying at WAAPA in 2017, Elouise decided to write some jokes and try stand up for the first time. Turns out stand up is way easier than she thought & she’s really good at it! Since then Elouise has been a two time state finalist for WA & NSW in the RAW Comedy Competition and performed professionally as a stand up comedian across Australia and Worldwide, including Sydney Comedy Festival Gala, The Comedy Store (Sydney), Comedy Cellar (NY), Union Hall (NY) & Top Secret (London).
Although Covid shut the world down in 2020 & 2021 this didn’t stop Elouise from still making waves in the comedy scene with her online satirical videos & live TV appearances calling out big corporations, retired creepy football managers & bad vaccine roll out schemes.
In 2021 & 2022, Elouise toured her sketch show with Ruby Teys, ‘Mystery Flight’ as high energy, high kicking flight attendants with a cast of very talented flight crew. The show included singing, dancing, celebrity impersonations, character comedy & political satire and went on to have sell out seasons at the Melbourne, Sydney & Perth Comedy Festivals.
In 2022, Elouise with The Harry Morrisey Official created improv show ‘The Audition Room’, starring the duo as evil casting directors who audition an incredible cast of up and coming and established actors & comedians for a major film role. The show became a cult classic and went on to win the Sydney Fringe ‘Tour Ready Award’ which took the show international to Hollywood Fringe in Los Angeles & sell out shows in London. Since then ‘The Audition Room’ had sell out encore seasons at Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival & Sydney Comedy Festival.
In 2024, Elouise debuted her highly anticipated solo hour, ‘Australia’s First Attractive Comedian’ at Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The show included her sexy but silly stand up, singing, dancing & fantasy inspired characters, which led to rave reviews, standing ovations and the 2024 Director’s Choice Award at Sydney Comedy Festival. The debut show had sold out seasons at Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane Comedy Festivals and sold out encores at Comedy Republic (Melb) & The Comedy Store (Syd). Due to the resounding success of Australia’s First Attractive Comedian, Elouise will be touring her neo-feminist show around Australia, New Zealand & Internationally in 2025.
You may recognise Elouise from The Project (Network10), playing Aaron Chen’s girlfriend in his isolation web series ‘Inside Aaron’ (YouTube), The Today Show (Nine), 7:30 Report (ABC), Sunrise (Channel7) or from one of her many viral instagram videos. She has also been working consistently in Australian television since 2018 with acting roles in dramas & comedy, including Colin from Accounts (Binge), Limitless (Disney+), Paper Dolls (Paramount), After The Verdict (Nine) & Bump (Stan). Elouise also starred as a lead in award winning short film ‘Good Fortune’ (2023) directed by her sister Alexandra Eftos, which was selected as one of the 114 films screened at Academy Award & BAFTA recognised, Flickerfest.
